Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en motor med et indre motorrom (18). En roterbar rotor (20) kan bli drevet ved å tilføre et trykkmedium til den, hvor trykkmediet utvider seg i et arbeidsområde (40) for motorrommet (18). Et bremseelement (22) for å bremse rotoren (20) er aksielt anbrakt inntil den. Bremseelementet (22) og rotoren (20) er aksielt forskyvbare i forhold til hverandre og danner et fjærbelastet friksjonspar (48, 50). For å være i stand til å oppnå en høyere bremsevirkning på grunn av sterkere fjærer (52), er det anordnet et trykkammer (60), hvor utstrekningen av dette i tverrsnittet er større enn utstrekningen i tverrsnitt av motorrommet (18) i arbeidsområdet (40). Trykkammeret (60) er aksielt begrenset minst én side av bremseelementet (22). Et trykk i trykkammeret (60) og eventuelt mellom bremseelementet (22) og den tilliggende side av rotoren (20), gir en kraft for å skille friksjonsparet (48, 50) mot fjærkraften. Trykkammeret (60) er anbrakt slik at trykkmediet kommer inn i trykkammeret (60) når det blir tilført motoren (20).
