For å forbedre et slikt kraftforsyningssystem på en måte slik at dette systemet har en enkel struktur, og slik at hver dataoverførings/spenningsomformingsenhet også kan tilveiebringe høyere effekter over en forutbestemt tidsperiode eller under kontinuerlig operasjon, er et flertall dataoverførings/ spenningsomformings-enheter arrangert modulært, og en ytterligere kraftforsyningsmodul kan koples dertil for å øke kraftforsyningen, og den elektriske kraften, henholdsvis.
