Abstract

Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en anordning og fremgangsmåte for å estimere én eller flere formasjonsegenskaper i et borehull. Anordningen omfatter en verktøykropp med en longitudinal akse. Verktøykroppen har et antall metallpillarer som er festet til. Eller som er en integrert del av, verktøykroppen. Antennetråder kan plasseres på verktøykroppen mellom pillarene med flere orienteringer for å tilveiebringe en flerstråleantenne. Et isolerende materiale brukes til å dekke antennetrådene. Et materiale med høy magnetisk permeabilitet plasseres mellom antennetrådene og verktøykroppen. Antennen kan konfigureres til å virke som en sender eller som en mottaker i en resistivitetssensor eller en NMR-sensor.
