Abstract

Den ikke-inngripende målingen av tettheten og viskositeten til statiske eller strømmende fluider i en del av et rør slik at røret opptrer som følerinstrumentet, blir beskrevet. Måling av en egnet strukturell vibrasjonsresonansfrekvens for røret og bredden av denne resonansen tillater henholdsvis tettheten og viskositeten å bli bestemt. Viskositeten kan også bli målt ved å overvåke dempingen i tid av en vibrasjonsresonans i røret.
