Abstract

En fremgangsmåte og anordning for begrensning av pluggdannelse i en flerfasefluidstrøm som strømmer gjennom en ledning hvor ledningen innbefatter en første del og en andre del som er oppover hellende i forhold til den første delen og hvor flerfasefluidstrømmen innbefatter en gassfase og en væskefase, idet fremgangsmåten innbefatter trinne å: (a) bestemme trykket i ledningen oppstrøms av en pluggdannelsessone; (b) bestemme trykket i ledningen nedstrøms av pluggdannelsessonen; (c) bestemme den faktiske trykkdifferansen over pluggdannelsessonen ved å subtrahere nedstrømstrykket fra trinn (b) fra oppstrømstrykket fra trinn (a); (d) bestemme feilen mellom en må (trykkdifferanse og den faktiske trykkdifferansen; (e) produsere et signal innbefattende en første komponent som er proporsjonal med feilen og en andre komponent som er proporsjonal med endringsraten for feilen overtid; og (f) benytte signalet produsert i trinn (e) til å styre posisjonen til en justerbar strupeventil anordnet nedstrøms av pluggdannelsessonen for å stabilisere variasjoner som oppstår i den faktiske trykkdifferansen over tid.
