Description

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en koplingsmuffeThe present invention relates to a coupling sleeve

for plastrør, hvor muffen er innrettet til å oppta minst én rør-ende av et rør som skal sammenføyes og er utstyrt på innersiden med minst ett ringformet spor hvori det er anordnet en tetningsring av gummielastisk materiale, og minst ett annet ringformet spor hvori det er anordnet en sperrering som hindrer at det inn-førte føres ut igjen. for plastic pipes, where the sleeve is designed to accommodate at least one pipe end of a pipe to be joined and is equipped on the inside with at least one annular groove in which a sealing ring of rubber-elastic material is arranged, and at least one other annular groove in which provided with a barrier that prevents what has been brought in from being taken out again.

Plastic pipelines exposed to temperature variations have significant changes in length. This can mean that in the case of a pipe connection with a coupling sleeve between two pipe ends, one pipe end can be pulled completely out of the sleeve.

In order to prevent this, a pipe coupling with a coupling sleeve has been developed which, in addition to a sealing ring, is designed with a cut locking ring which, due to elastic bias, engages with an annular groove arranged on the pipe when the pipe end is pulled out of the sleeve and thereby prevents the discharge of the end piece of the sleeve (Swiss patent document 432,952). This pipe connection has the disadvantage that each pipe end to be joined to the sleeve must be equipped with an annular groove, which requires an additional work operation.

The purpose of the invention is to improve a coupling sleeve of the above-mentioned type so that completely unprocessed pipe ends can be used whereby these are automatically secured against extraction after placement in the coupling sleeve.

Dette ér ifølge oppfinnelsen oppnådd ved at sperringenAccording to the invention, this is achieved by the blocking

er utformet med et antall skrått innoverrettete, elastisk form-bare tunger som ved uttrekking av rørenden av muffen er innrettet til å skjære seg inn i rørets overflate. is designed with a number of obliquely inwardly directed, elastically deformable tongues which, when the pipe end is pulled out of the sleeve, are arranged to cut into the pipe's surface.

Oppfinnelsen vil bli nærmere forklart i det etterfølgende under henvisning til de medfølgende tegninger, hvori: Fig. 1 og 2 viser langsgående snitt gjennom to utførelses- The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 and 2 show longitudinal sections through two embodiments

Fig. 3 shows a longitudinal section on a larger scale through part of a coupling sleeve with a pushed-in touching end on which a pulling force is exerted. Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through a barrier.

Fig. 5 viser et sideriss av samme sperrering.Fig. 5 shows a side view of the same barrier.

Fig. 1 viser en koplingsmuffe 1 av plast for sammenføyning av to ender av plastrør 2 (se fig. 6). 3) . Fig. 6 shows a view, partly in section, of a pipe joining using the coupling sleeve according to the invention. Fig. 1 shows a plastic coupling sleeve 1 for joining two ends of plastic pipe 2 (see Fig. 6). It is equipped with a mid-tree, radially indenting projection 3 which acts as abutment for the end surfaces of the tubes 2. It is also equipped with two semi-circular, ring-shaped grooves 4. In each of these, a sealing ring 5 of rubber or plastic is placed. In two further grooves 6, which are rectangular in cross-section, a locking ring 7 is placed which is shown separately in fig. 4 and 5. This ring can be closed or be equipped with a dividing slot, i.e. be produced either from a tube or from a flat tin strip and then shaped. On the end surface that faces the interior of the coupling sleeve 1, the locking ring is designed with an incision 8 so that a number of tongues 9a, 9b are produced. Every other tongue 9b is bent obliquely inwards, which is also clear from fig. 3. The inclination of the inward bent tongues 9b are preferably about 20-60°. In any case, the tongues 9b must be bent in such a way and have such a length that their front edges project into the light opening of the coupling sleeve, so that when a touching end 2 is inserted, they are elastically bent slightly outwards. Expediently, the edges 10 are shaped like an egg. Thereby, when the pipe end 2 is withdrawn from the sleeve 1, they cut into the surface of the pipe end 2 and thereby prevent the pipe end from being pulled out completely (see fig. 3).

The coupling sleeve according to fig. 2 deviates from the sleeve according to fig. 1 only in that the blocking rings 7 are arranged outside the sealing rings 5.

The coupling sleeve can of course also be designed on one end of a plastic pipe. In such a case, it would be equipped with only one locking ring 7 and one sealing ring 5.

If a pipe connection is to be separated again, this can be done by pushing a tin strip that fits exactly around the circumference of the pipe. Thereby, the tongues 9b with their edges 10 are brought out of contact with the pipe surface so that the pipe can be pulled out.
