den tilveiebringer et fartøy med muligheter for flytendegjør-ing av naturgass som kan drives på steder hvor en konstruksjon og drift av et anlegg på land ville være vanskelig.
Det er en videre fordel ved foreliggende oppfinnelse at den tilveiebringer et fartøy med mulighet for flytendegjør-ing av naturgass som inneholder utstyr som hjelper til gyro-stabilisering av fartøyet.
Fartøy.et ifølge oppfinnelsen er et fartøy som er oppdelt i seksjoner og beregnet på å oppta flere moduler for flyt-endegj øring. De roterende masser for hver modul er plasert på tvers av fartøyets akse hvor hver gang to kompressordrivorgan-innretninger har motsatte rotasjonsretninger.
Fartøyet ifølge oppfinnelsen er kjennetegnet ved det
som fremgår av kravene.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende nærmere forklares ved hjelp av et utførelseseksempel som er fremstilt på tegnin-gen, som viser: fig. 1 et skjematisk riss av fartøyet, illustrerende
seksjonsoppdelingen av dette, og
fig. 2 et snitt av fartøyet langs linjen 2 - 2 på
fig. 1.
På fig. 1 er fartøyet generelt betegnet med 10 og
er oppdelt i seksjoner på en slik måte at det tilveiebringes en kontrollseksjon CC, som er sentralt plasert i forhold til sek-sjonene for flytendegjøring LC, som inneholder modulene for flytendegjøring. Kontrollseksjonen CC vil innbefatte blant annet
understøttelsesanordninger og utstyr, såsom kraftfrembringende enheter,.brensel- og vannbehandlingsenheter, ventilasjonsappa-rater og lignende. De gjenblivende seksjoner innbefatter lag-rings- og understøttelsesutstyr SF..Flytendegjøringsseksjonene LC er fullstendig isolert av vann og ildsikre skott som utstrek-ker, seg fra fartøyets skrog til toppen av hver seksjon innbefatt-ende vann- og ildsikre dekk. Hver seksjon er ventilert med utstyr som styres fra kontrollseksjonen CC.
Fig. 2 viser en flytendegjøringsmodul LM med en kapasitet på 2,5 x 10 gscfd,.' som er Dlasert i en flytendesd ør-ingsseksj on LC. Flytendegjøringsmodulen LM omfatter generelt:
en ekspanderingsinnretning for. ekspansjon av naturgass i den fortettede fase til et trykk ved hvilket C^+ hydrokarboner er .tilgjengelige. for separering i væskefasen i en destillasjons-kolonne, en kompressor for komprimering av den gassformede an-del fra destillasjonskolonnen til et trykk over det kritiske trykk for denne og et koldgassystem for kjølebehovene for den rekomprimerte naturgass. Koldgassystemet innbefatter en to-- trinns gasskompressor, hvis lavtrykkshus drives av en gasstur-bin og hvor høytrykkshuset drives av en dampturbin med damp som er tilveiebragt fra en koker som benytter gassturbinens avgass-varme. Hver turbin er.utstyrt med en ekspansjonshjelpeinnret-ning.
Kompressoren som innbefatter store roterende masser er anordnet på tvers av fartøyets akse med tilhørende kompressor drivutstyr utformet med motsatte rotasjonsretninger. Cyk-liske gasskjølere og dampkondensatorer er plasert i den nederste del av fartøyet med roterende utstyr på dekket over og kold-sonevekslere på dekket derover. Gassfraksjoneringsinnretninger med kanaler av spesiell utforming (perforerte spiraler som i luftkolonner). er plasert i midten av fartøyet. Anordningen av utstyr er viktig for å oppnå et lavt gravitasjonssenter for fartøyet og en lav metasenterhøyde av stabilitetsgrunner.
Kjølerne og kondensatorene er plasert ved det laveste punkt i fartøyet og står i væskeforbindelse med innløpslednin-ger som er plasert langs siden til skroget på fartøyet når opp-strømsdelen i forhold til fremherskende strømmer. Kjølerens og kondensatorens utløp står i væskeforbindelse med vannutløpsled-ninger som er plasert nær fartøyets kjøl. I denne henseende er den riktige plasering av vannledningsinnløp og utløp viktig, da varmtvannsutstrømningen gjennom utløpsledningene plasert på siden av fartøyet ville resultere,. f. eks. ved arktiske steder, i en isdamp som ville inneslutte fartøyet hvis de atmosfæriske betingelser er gunstige for det-. På mer sydlige steder kan de gi opphav til tåke.
Av sikkerhetsgrunner bør lagringsmulighetene for
LNG på fartøyet være minimale. LNG bør helst overføres til et lagringsskip eller lekter for lasting av en LNG-tanker, f. eks. som -beskrevet i U.S. patent nr. 3.877-240. På arktiske steder kan lagringsskipet flyte i et åpent vannområde i kjølvannet på flytendegjøringsskipet.
Fartøyet kan ha eller behøver ikke ha fremdriftsen-.heter. Det er klart at benyttelsen av flere flytendegjørings-moduler tillater større fleksibilitet enn et anlegg med kombi- • nert kapasitet, da et problem som krever en avstengning av en modul ikke vil kreve avstengning av de gjenværende moduler og derfor -bare delvis påvirke kapasiteten.
Mens det ovenfor ér diskutert en flytendegjørings-seksjon som adskilles fra andre med vann-- og ildsikre skott og overdekk, er det klart at hver flytendegjøringsseksjon kan ytterligere oppdeles i. seksjoner i interesse av sjødyktigheten.
Claims (3)
1. Fartøy med muligheter for flytendegjøring av naturgass, karakterisert ved at det omfatter et skrog som er oppdelt av på tvers anordnede skott i flere flyt-endegj øringsseksjoner, hvilke skott er i det vesentlige vann-og ildsikre, og en flytendegjøringsenhet for flytendegjøring av naturgass plasert i-hver av flytendegjøringsseksjonene, hvilken flytendegjøringsinnretning innbefatter kompressorer som er plasert på tvers av fartøyets akse, med kompressorer til hosliggende flytendegjøringsinnretninger utformet med motsatte rotasjonsretninger.
2. Fartøy ifølge krav 1, karakterisert' ved at flytendekjøringsinnretningen innbefatter kjølere og kondensatorer, hvilke kjølere og kondensatorer står i væskeforbindelse med innløpsledninger plasert på siden av skroget, hvilket skrog er utformet med en kjøl og har utløpsledninger som er plasert i nærheten av kjølen til fartøyet.
3.. Fartøy ifølge krav 2, karakterisert ved at kjølerne og kondensatorene er plasert i den nederste del av skroget.
