Description
Lystett emballasje av dyptrukket foliemateriale for emballering av næringsmidler. Light-tight packaging of deep-drawn foil material for food packaging.
Due to the fact that the influence of light is harmful when storing important foodstuffs/ such as various fat products, food and beverage products etc., it is of great importance in a technical and economic way to be able to mass produce suitable light-tight packaging units with an aesthetic appearance. Boxes, boxes and generally U-shaped packaging units with tight-fitting lids therefore play a major role in the distribution of factory-made food products. The present invention relates to an alleviation of the accompanying problems with this type of packaging. The method according to the invention, in which light-tight packaging units are produced by means of deep drawing of a foil material, is characterized by the fact that the foil material is produced from a three-layer laminate of mainly polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or a similar thermoplastic , whereby an intermediate and light-tight barrier layer contains carbon fiber with a grain size of less than 100 nm, preferably a grain size of approx. 27 nm, and that the cover layers, which surround the barrier layer, contain titanium dioxide with grain size 0.1 - 0.5, pxn, preferably grain size 0.3, pm. It has also been found that by using these grain sizes for the pigments in the wood layer laminate, a particularly favorable balancing of the degree of filling and the layer thickness can be achieved, and this results in both manufacturing technical and general economic advantages.
It has been experimentally established that the limit for acceptable color deviation in the white part of a black/white laminate is approx. 14 - 16% transmission in the white layer. If this value is exceeded, a shielded material is obtained, which deviates very unsatisfactorily in color from a material that has a covering layer with lower transmission.
At 15 phr TiO^ in the white layer, this must have a thickness of 50 to achieve acceptable color coverage.
To determine the degree of sealing of a pigmented foil, one can measure the reflected light from a foil placed over a black and a white substrate. The quotient between the reflection over the white and black surfaces constitutes the contrast value, and with full coverage this should be approx. 98%. The contrast value of 92% is the lower limit that we have found to be acceptable in terms of color tolerances. In the course of extensive experiments, it has generally been found that there is good agreement between the calculations of the lowest filling level which have been made on the basis of, on the one hand, transmission and
på den annen side refleksjonsverdiene.on the other hand, the reflectance values.
For calendered rigid PVC foil, which is to be used for deep drawing, we have found that 20 phr TiO^ constitutes the upper limit for practical reasons, although a slightly higher limit is possible in case of special interventions in production.
0,70 mm til ca. 0,25 mm på det tynneste stedet. a width/height ratio of 2:1, you get a final wall thickness of approx. 3 5 - 50% of the thickness of the starting material. This naturally depends on the design of the mold and the production technique itself with all its elements. Practical tests during production under normal conditions have shown that a box with the dimensions 90 . 140 . 50 mm changes its wall thickness. from e.g. 0.70 mm to approx. 0.25 mm at the thinnest point.
Hvis produktene har mindre, veggtykkelse bor,på grunn av akseptabelt utseende, fyllingsgradenokes, If the box is built up from a three-layer laminate according to the invention, this means that you can start from an outer layer of only 150 µm and a filler content of Ti02 of approx. 15 phr, so that after forming the thickness should not fall below 50 µm in the thinnest places. If the products have less, wall thickness drill, due to acceptable appearance, filling gradenokes,
og derved får man alle de komplikasjoner som dette medfbrer.and thereby you get all the complications that this entails.
With the help of the black intermediate layer, a light barrier with the transmission 0 is obtained with the conditions according to the present invention at practically applicable thicknesses, i.e. »150 pm thickness of the barrier layer for the forming, and after the forming a thickness of approx. 50 pm in the thinnest places with a kjbnrbks content of 6 phr.
In a box made of rigid PVC with TiC^ as the only filler and with a thickness of 0.25 mm at the thinnest place, in order to achieve the light density according to the invention, one would need to have a content of TiC>2 that substantially exceeds 20 phr, i.e. that one would have to work with such high filling rates that would partly cause production problems and partly put the material's depth
trekningsevne i fare på grunn av nedsatte mekaniske egenskaper.tensile strength at risk due to reduced mechanical properties.
I denne sammenheng kan nevnes at normale PVC-foliekvaliteterIn this context, it can be mentioned that normal PVC foil qualities
for emballasje formål bruker å ligge mellom 3 og 5 phr titandioksyd. for packaging purposes use between 3 and 5 phr of titanium dioxide.
Ved fremgangsmåten ifblge oppfinnelsen oppnås den fordelenWith the method according to the invention, that advantage is achieved
Spillmaterialets håndtering er ellers et meget stort problem that you can recycle printed material and enable an economic recovery of the waste material from production. The handling of game material is otherwise a very big problem
By using it in the light-proof barrier layer as a modified regenerated material, which is produced either by calendering or extrusion, and which forms a core on which the white layers are then laminated, an excellent material has been obtained which is easily vacuum-formed without to change appearance.
