Abstract

Apparat for innmatning av et pulverformig materiale, særlig aluminiumoksyd til en aluminiumreduksjonscelle, omfatter en passasje med en oppstrøms seksjon (10) forsynt med plater (18, 20), hvilken seksjon (10) før-er til et hinder (14, 16) og deretter til en nedstrøms seksjon (12). Et gassrør (22) innmater lavtrykksgass til en spalte (26) gjennom hvilken gass-strømmen kan startes og stoppes og således starte og stoppe passasje av materialet gjennom hinderet (14, 16).
