Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av nevnte legeringsgjenstander, et kompaktert forløperprodukt til slike gjenstander samt et sprekkfritt platematerlale som er basert på de fremstilte produktene.Powder metallurgical techniques for the production of gamma-titanium alloy articles (TiAl-type alloys) from a powder mixture in which one of the compounds is based on AIH and the other on H3AI. Mixtures of these powders in the proper ratio can be compacted, processed and heat treated to obtain the desired gamma-TiAl alloy. A method is described for the production of said alloying articles, a compacted precursor product for such articles and a crack-free sheet material based on the manufactured products.
