Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av celluloseacetat fra masse av ved anvender våt masse av ved og isteden-for å omvandle denne til tørr lagmasse som er det vanlige råstoffet for acetat, tørkes og separeres massen mekanisk til cellulosefnugg ved anvendelse av en stiftmølle hvorigjennom en varm tørkegass føres. Deaktivering av cellulosen unngås ved kontroll av utløpstemperaturen for tørkegassen til 80C til 95C og av fuktighetsinnholdet for cellulosefnugg til 4 til 15 vekt-56. Det fremstilte fnugget kan acetyleres direkte uten noe behov for reaktlveringsbehandling i tillegg til den normale aktiveringen med eddiksyre.
