Abstract

Resttidsforskyvningskorreksjon, her også kalt tidsrestkorreksjon,for anvendelse på fellesoffsets dybdemigrerte data, særlig for seismiske undersøkelser. Den såkalte fellesoffsets dybdemigrasjon (COD- migrasjon) for tidsrestkorreksjonen (RMC) anvendes ved bruk av den beste til- gjengelige hastighets/dybde-modell. Så- kalte postmigrerte elementer (PMP) som tilsvarer dybdemigrerte fellesmidtpunkts- grupper (CMP) tas vare på ved lagring. Elementene (PMP) videreprosesseres som om de var relatert til tid og ikke til dybde. Normal tidsforskyvning (NMO) basert på konstant hastighet trekkes så ut. Hastighetsfunksjoner og tid/hastighets- par utledes for elementene (PMP) med tidsforskyvningen (NMO) fjernet ved å an- vende et standardisert hastighetsanalyse- program. Tidsforskyvningen (NMO) basert på disse hastighetsfunksjoner anvendes så. Hendelsene for elementene (PMP) blir da avbildet med referanse til samme dybde. De korrigerte elementer (PMP) føres til sist til systematisk lagring og visning.
