Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for omdannelse av en fast katalysator omfattende ruthenium og cerium til en vandig oppløsning som er egnet for bruk ved gjenfremstilling av den faste katalysatoren, og denne fremgangsmåten omfatter trinnene: (a) oppløsning av den faste katalysatoren i en effektiv mengde av konsentrert saltsyre eller hydrobromsyre, (b) behandling av produktet fra trinn (a) med en effektiv mengde av konsentrert salpetersyre, (c) oppvarming av produktet fra trinn (b) inntil vesentlig alt hydrogenklorid eller hydrogen-bromid er fjernet, (d) fortynning av produktet fra trinn (c) med vann.
