Vinylhalogenidpolymerblandinger med redusert gasspenneabilitet omfattende en blanding av. (A) minst en vinylhalogenldpolymer og. (B) fra 1 til 40 vektdeler pr. 100 deler vinylhalogenldpolymer (A) av minst en olefiriisk nitrllpolymer.Vinylhalogenidpolymeren er fortrinnsvis vinylkloridhomopolymerer og -kopolymerer og de olefiniske nitril-polymerer er kopolymerer av et olefinisk umettet nitril som akrylnitril og en eller flere monomerer fra gruppen konjugerte diener, monooleflner, olefinisk umettede karboksylsyreestere og vinylaromatiske forbindelser. Den olefiniske polymer kan velges eller fremstilles til å ha en refraktiv indeks som er lik den til vinylhalogenid-polyeren for derved å gi en mer transparent blanding.
