Ved en fremgangsmåte ved frem-stilling av amorfe prøvelegemer som er anvendbare for optisk spektralanalyse og røntgen-spektralanalyse, ved smel-ting av en prøve beregnet for analyse sammen med flussmiddel tilfres før smeltingen dessuten findelt Si0i en mengde av 1-100% av prvemengden. An-vendelse av prøvelegemer erholdt ved fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen for analyse av geologisk materiale, uor-ganisk miljøprøvemateriale samt sul-fidiske og/eller oksydiske produkter fra jern- og ikke-jernfremstilling er også krevet.
