Abstract

Innretning i form av en måleopp- stilling for bestemmelse av amplitude og fase av to forskjellig polariserte sig- naler som mottas fra to atskilte mot- takerantenner (5, 6), idet signalene særlig er mikrobølgesignaler. Måleopp- stillingen er innrettet for å utføre reflektometriske målinger av en over- flate eller grenseflate mellom to medier (l, 2, 3). For å oppnå en enkel oppbyg- ging forutsettes at mottakerantennene (5, 6) er koplet til et nettverk med effektdelekretser (9-12) og effektsumme- kretser (13, 14) og hvis fire utganger er ført til en respektiv detektor (20- 23). To av detektorene er i prinsippet koplet direkte til en av mottakeranten- nene (5, 6), mens de to øvrige detekto- rer mottar et signal som er dannet ved en kombinasjon av mottakerantennenes signaler. En fasedreier (15) er for- trinnsvis innskutt i en av signalveiene i nettverket. Det beskrives videre en frem- gangsmåte for kalibrering av måleopp- stillingen. Anvendelse er særlig måling av en kjørebane, idet denne da utgjør det underste av de tre medier, luften over kjørebanen representerer det øverste medium, mens for eksempel et sjikt av regnvann danner det mellomlig- gende medium med tykkelse (d).
