Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å eliminere karbon og fosfor og eventuelt også nit- rogen i awann ad biologisk vei, hvor vannet bringes til å sirkulere i biofil- tere med neddykkede filtreringssjikt, som drives under anaerobe betingelser og deretter under aerobe betingelser, eller i motsatt rekkefølge. I et behandlings- system med minst to seriekoblede celler eller biofiltere (for eksempel ett bio- filter som drives under anaerobe betin- gelser og 1-5 biofiltere som drives under aerobe betingelser) foretas en syklisk alternering av anaerobiosefasen og aerobioasefasen, idet strømmen av vann som skal behandles, alltid føres til filteret i anaerobiosefasen. Det vil være fordelaktig at det mellom fasene i syklusen legges inn en relaksasjonsfase hvor det foretas stansning av tilførse- len av vann som skal behandles.
