Abstract
Ubleket masse (12) vaskes med en alkalisk løsning (14) l en vaskepresse (13) for hovedsaklig å fordele en første mengde alkalisk materiale Jevnt l massen. Konsistensen til massen som kommer ut av vaskepressen (13) er over ca. 18*. fortrinnsvis mellom 25til 35 masse-# og den høykonslstens alkallholdlge massen (15) blir deretter behandlet med oksygen (22) for å frembringe delignifiserlng (21).
