Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse er rettet på et humant tumornekrosefaktor-mutein eller et farmasøytisk akseptabelt salt derav som har selektiv bindingsaffinitet for den humane p55-tumornekrosefaktor-reseptor, kjennetegnet ved at aminosyresekvensen av den humane tumornekrosefaktor er forandret i det minste i posisjon 86 og viser en treonin- i stedet for en serinrest, en DNA-sekvens som koder for et slikt mutein, en vektor som omfatter en slik DNA-sekvens, en vertscelle omdannet med slik vektor, en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av slike muteiner ved hjelp av slike vertsceller, farmasøytiske sammensetninger som inneholder et slikt mutein og anvendelse av et slikt mutein for behandling av sykdommer.
