Abstract

Termisk isolasjonsmateriale av syntetisk fiber, i form av en sammenholdt fiber- konstruksjon omfattende et materiale av: (a) fra 50 til 100 vekt% av glattede, spundne og strukkede, krympede polymere stapelmikrofibrer med en diameter på fra 3 til 12 iim, (b) fra O til 30 vekt% av uglattede, spundne og strukkede, krympede polymere stapelmikrofibrer med en diameter på fra 3 til 12 pm, og (c) fra O til 30 vekt% av syntetiske polymere makrofibrer med en diameter på fra 12 til 50 um, hvor i det minste noen av fibrene er bundet eller mekanisk forbundet med hverandre, og hvor den termomekaniske parameter T er større enn 0,25 (m2-K/W-m)/(mN-cm).
