En tilnærmet konstant laststrcm oppnås dermed ved en- eller flerfase- drift, idet alle f asestremkretser (L2, L3) bortsett fra en forhåndsgitt siste fasestrømkrets (LI) , er forbundet innbyrdes og i f orbindelsespunktet koblet over en felles diode (Dl) til den siste fasestremkrets (LI) .
