Abstract

Paracoccus-stammer fra basisprøver gir, etter oppdyrking på dimetylamin- eller trimetylarain-holdig næringsmedium, en høy-selektiv dimetylaroin-dehydrogenase eller trimetylamin- dehydrogenase - to enzymer som er utmerket egnet for bedømmel- se av friskheten av fersk eller frosset fisk. Omsettingen skjer i nærvær av fenazineto- eller metosulfat som elektron- akseptor og kan utføres og oppfølges fotometrisk i nærvær av diklorfenolindofenol. Den selektive DMA- eller TMA-bestemmel- se er egnet for analyse i næringsmiddel- og diagnoseområdet. En spesielt effektiv Paracoccus-stamme er blitt deponert under nummeret DSM 6512.
