Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og et apparat for løpende kvalitetsover- våkning av en renset metallsulfatløsning er beskrevet. Fremgangsmåten omfatter prosesstrinn som går ut på at metall fra den rensede metallsulfatløsning avsettes på en arbeids- elektrode (14) nedsenket i løsningen ved å tilføre konstant strøm med strømtetthet i området 25 til 150 mA/cm2 under et forutbestemt tidsintervall, hvorpå det avsatte metall på arbeidselektroden oppløses ved vending av polariteten for det potensial som er påtrykt mellom arbeidselektroden (14) og en motelektrode (16), for derved å drive en strøm i motsatt retning, men med samme strømtetthet gjennom løsningen inntil all sink er fjernet fra arbeidselektroden. Dette kan avføles som en plutselig forandring i elektrodepotensialet. Løsnin- gens kvalitetsindeks kan da utledes ved å beregne forholdet mellom oppløsningstiden og avsetningstiden. Til slutt gjen- opprettes overflatetilstanden for motelektroden ved å frem- bringe oppløsning av det metall som er avsatt på motelektroden (16) ved slutten av hver måleprosess.
