Abstract

En varmlufttørker (10) benytter hurtigstrømmende luftstråler som skraper og bryter opp det fuktige luftsjikt som kleber til overflaten av et nylig trykket ark (S). Hurtigstrømmende luft blir oppvarmet til en høy temperatur etterhvert som den strømmer langs et motstandsvarme-element (38) inne i et luftleverings-lederør (64). Den oppvarmede hurtigstrømmende luft trykksetter et overtrykkskammer (46) inne i en luftfordelingsmanifold. Hurtigstrømmende vannluftstråler føres ut gjennom et antall luftstrøm-åpninger (54) over på den våte trykkfargeside av et trykket ark etter- hvert som det fremføres gjennom tørkerens eksponeringssone (Z). En ekstrakter fjerner det fuktige luftsjikt, hurtig- strømmende varmluft og flyktige stoffer fra det trykte ark og blåser det ut fra pressen.
