Abstract

Et flertilgangsskjema innenfor et telekommunikasjonssystem har beskjedne overføringsforsinkelser og går under benevnelsen STDD (Shared Time-division Duplexing/tidsdelt dupleksoverføring). Dette skjema tillater talesamband i begge retninger, dvs. i form av utsig- naler og innsignaler relatert til en bruker, idet signalene i begge sambands- retninger deler en felles kanal. Skje- maet inneholder separate kommandokanaler for sambandet i de to retninger og en felles taleinformasjonskanal. Kommando- kanalene omfatter midler for signalering av talekrav og bekreftelser av alloker- ing av tildelte tidsluker. Ved uteluk- kemde å bruke taleaktivitetsregistrering frembringes "talepakker" av typen "talk spurt", dvs. forserte talesekvenser. STDD-skJemaet foreskriver dynamisk allo- kerte tidsluker i den felles informa- sjonskanal ved å utnytte koordinerte toveis sambandssekvenser for å oppnå en god gjennomsnittlig multipleksgevinst og mer effektiv utnyttelse av den felles informasjonskanal.
