Abstract
En elektromagnetisk bølge sendt ut fra en interrogator-enhet (l, l') mottas av en transponder-antenne (5) og omformes til en eneste puls ved hjelp av en demodulasjonskrets (7). I en pulsforsinker-generator (8) forsinkes den eneste puls sekven- sielt ved hjelp av forsinker-elementer (9) for derved å frembringe pulser som innbyrdes avviker i tid. En kode- innretning (11) genererer et særskilt kodet pulstog på grunnlag av de forsinkede pulser. Når hver puls i det kodede pulstog tilføres en modulasjonskrets (14), endres impedans- karakteristikken for modulasjonskretsen (14) og en impedans- tilpasningskrets (15). Som et resultat reflekterer transpond- er-antennen (S) den elektromagnetiske bølge som sendes ut fra interrogator-enheten.
