Oppfinnelsen vedrører et høyderegulerbart arbeidsbord med minst en teleskopaktig søyle, hvori minst en støtte er forskyvbar, og med en vektutligningsinnretnlng, som har minst en kraf takkumulator, hvis ene ende er opp- lagret på arbeldsbordsiden og hvis andre ende er forbundet med en strekkline for høyderegulerlng av støtten. Mellom kraftakkumulatoren (44) og strekklinen (28,34) er det innkoplet en kraftkompensasjonsinn- retning (35) som påvirkes slik av vektutlignlngsirm- relningen (26) at ved en forskyvning av støtten (2,3) vil kraftkompensasjonsinnretningens (35) virksomme hevarm endres slik at den av vektutligningslnnretningen (26) tilvelebragte motkraft i det minste delvis kan kompenseres for.
