Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører nye forgrenede peptider for spesifikk diagnostisering og forhindring av non-A-non-B- hepatitt (NANBH), så vel som hepatitt-C-virus-(HCV)-infeksjon. Nærmere bestemt er foreliggende oppfinnelse rettet mot for- grenede syntetiske substituerte og hybrid-peptider som inne- holder minst en epitop som under bruk av immunoassay er virksom ved påvisning av NANBH-assosierte antistoff hos pasienter med NANBH. Dessuten tilveiebringer foreliggende oppfinnelse immunoassay-metoder og analyse-sett for påvisning og diagnostisering av NANBH- eller HCV-infeksjon ved å benytte angjeldende peptider.
