Abstract
Apparat for linjetilkoplet måling av fysiske egenskaper for hydrokarbonpro- dukter, nemlig oktantall, cetanverdi, egenvekt, damptrykk og liknende, eller forholdet mellom bensin og alkohol. Apparatet omfatter midler (l) for å tilveiebringe lysutstråling i infrarødt eller nærinfrarødt område og innenfor et forhåndsbestemt spektralområde, midler for å sende ut lys ved bestemte bølge- lengder i dette spektralområde, midler for å overføre lys fra den lyskilde som frembringer lyset og til en hydrokarbon- produktlinje, midler for å tillate opp- setting av en optisk veilengde i denne linje, midler for å detektere det lys som overføres via den optiske veilengde, midler for å tilveiebringe et tilsvar- ende elektrisk signal for signalbe- handling og spektralanalyse, og midler for korrelasjon av data fra spektral- analysen ved de fysiske egenskaper for hydrokarbonproduktene, nemlig oktan- tallet, cetanverdien, egenvekten, damp- trykket og liknende, eller forholdet mellom bensin og alkohol.
