Abstract
Det blir beskrevet en fremgangsmåte og en anordning for fjerning av asbest og/eller asbestholdig materiale og av reststoffer fra avfallsforbrenningsanlegg såvel som aktlvkoks og/eller aktlvkull, hvor materialet blir oppdelt til en kornstørrelse < 50 mm, det oppdelte materialet blir tilsatt tilsetningsstoffer og faste brennstoffer med en kornstørrelse < 50 mm og det sammenslåtte materialet blir blandet, blendingen blir ledet inn l rlngsjakten (3) til primærkammeret (2) i overflatesmelteovnen (1), i primærkammeret (2) blir det Innstilt en temperatur på 1250'C til 1600'C, det avløpende smeltematerlalet og røkgassen forlater primærkammeret (2) Igjennom det sentrale utløp (4), det smeltede materialet blir ledet gjennom sekundærkammeret (5), granulert og tatt ut av en slaggfjerner (6).
