Abstract
Et apparat (10) for bruk til å blåse opp en oppblåsbar passasjer-fastspenningsanordning (12) for et kjøretøy, omfat- ter en trykktank (14), en aktivator-enhet (16), og en spreder (20). Trykktanken (14) definerer et lukket oppbevaringskammer (18) som inneholder oppblåsningsfluidum. Aktivatqr-enheten (16) åpner oppbevaringskammeret (18) for å utløse oppblås- ningsf luidet fra oppbevaringskammeret (18), og omfatter en ladning av pyroteknisk materiale (100) . Sprederen (20) diri- gerer oppblåsningsfluidet fra trykktanken (14) inn i kjøre- tøyets passasjer-fastspenningsanordning (12) for å blåse opp passasjer-fastspenningsanordningen (12). Apparatet (10) omfatter videre et legeme (160) av brennbart materiale som emitterer forbrenningsprodukter inn i oppblåsningsfluidet for å øke volumet av oppblåsningsfluidet, på et sted utenfor oppbvaringskammeret (18), ved å varme opp oppblåsningsfluidet utenfor oppbevaringskammeret (18).
