Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår et helt nytt, hvitt pigment av uorganisk type, nem- lig findelte, fortrinnsvis finpulveri- serte, partikler av transparent, far- get eller ufarget glass eller blandin- ger av disse, særlig glassavfall av éngangstypen. De findelte partikler har fortrinnsvis en størrelse i områ- det 0,01-10 nm. Det hvite pigment kan, i henhold til oppfinnelsen, frem- stilles ved findeling, eventuelt etter grovknusing, av transparent, farget eller ufarget glass til slike små par- tikler at de er anvendbare som hvitt pigment. Oppfinnelsen angår også en materialblanding som omfatter de nye hvite pigmentpartikler, særlig en blanding i form av en maling. Endelig angår oppfinnelsen anvendelse av glasset i findelt form som hvitt pigment.
