Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte og anordning for prøvetaking ved slurrypolymerisasjon. Prøven tas direkte fra vaeskefasen til reaktoren (15) via et In- : line filter (40). Slurrystrømmen opprettholdes l In- : line filteret (40) ved et tilstrekkelig høyt nivå til å l forhindre immobilisering av polymer eller katalysator- ' partikler på filterflaten av in-line filteret (40).
