Abstract

Det er beskrevet et automatisk kontrollsystem for et skip tilveiebragt med dreibare propellanordninger for automatisk opprettholdelse av skipets kurs og for å kontrollere kursen i henhold til en forutbestemt kurs. Skipet (S) er tilveiebragt med et eller flere par propellanordninger, hvor propellanordningene (1,2) som utgjør et par er anbragt symmetrisk i forhold til senterlinjen (L) til skipet og er forbundet til sentralenheten til det automatiske kontrollsystemet, hvilken enhet eventuelt kan være forbundet for å kontrollere propellanordningene (l, 2) som danner et par symmetrisk eller asymmetrisk. Ifølge oppfinnelsen er det automatiske kontrollsystemet tilveiebragt med en kontrollenhet ved hjelp av hvilken, uansett driftssituasjonen til sentralenheten til det automatiske kontrollsystemet, propellanordningene (1,2) som utgjør et par kan være tilkoplet for å stikke ut ved dreining av propellanordningene (l, 2) i motsatte retninger i forhold til skipets (S) langsgående senterlinje (L) for å regulere skipets (S) hastighet.
