Abstract

Aminoksyd-overflateaktive forbindelser forurenset med ni- tritt behandles under sure betingelser med materialer såsom maleinsyre og dietylentriaminpentaacetat (DTPA) for å ned- sette nivåene til under l ppm. Således oksyderes C12-C13- dimetylamin med hydrogenperoksyd i nærvær av maleinsyre og DTPA for å nedsette nitrittnivåene. Det resulterende ni- trittfrie aminoksyd anvendes i forskjellige vaskemiddel- blandinger.
