Abstract

Kjente fremgangsmåter som er i stand til å utføre, med den samme databærer, forskjellige autentiser- ingsprosesser, er basert på ikke standardiserte databærere (smartkort) på hvilke det er lagret to forskjellige aksesskoder. Ved en første autentiser- ingsprosess vil en første bruker generere en første brukerkode som blir sammenlignet med en versjon, transformert ved hjelp av en transformasjon, av en første aksesskode som er lagret på databæreren. Ved en andre autentiseringsprosess vil en andre bruker generere en andre brukerkode som blir sammenlighet med en versjon, transformert ved hjelp av transformasjonen, av en andre aksesskode som er lagret på databæreren. Ved nå å ha latt transformasjonen i dette tilfelle finne sted ved en andre autentiser- ingsprosess, ved hjelp av en andre transformasjon, vil det for forskjellige autentiseringsprosesser kunne brukes den samme verdensomspennende standardi- serte databærer på hvilken det er lagret bare én aksesskode. Den første/andre bruker vil deretter på nytt generere den første/andre brukerkode, som blir sammenlignet med en versjon transformert ved hjelp av en første/andre transformasjon av den eneste aksesskode som er lagret på databæreren.
