Anvendelse av bromelain ved be- handling av hyperkolesterolemi og lignende sykdommer. Bromelain er i stand til å virke som en gallesyre- reseptorantagonist og derfor forhindre reabsorpsjon av gallesyrer fra gastro- intestinalkanalen.
