Abstract
Operational platform comprising a first and second blades connected to a pivot element which can drive the blades laterally from and to one another, and a rib cushion connected to a blade. An upper blade is connected to the pivot member so that the blade rises as the blades are pivoted apart. Alternatively, a vertical displacement element may be coupled between a blade and the upper blade vertical displacement element, thereby increasing the working space of a surgeon and his visual area, by surgery on an internal breast artery. A tissue back spider is connected to the blades to pull the soft tissue around an incision away from the surgeon's work area.
