Abstract

Ved sterilisering av korn- og partikkelformet materiale blir materialet tilført damp for oppvarming til steriliseringstemperatur og holdes ved denne i en nødvendig residenstid. Materiale agiteres til fluid tilstand med samtidig oppvarming ved tilføring av damp. Etter agitering og oppvarming føres materialet direkte over i en residensbeholder hvorfra materialet føres ut etter ønsket residenstid. Steriliseringen gjennomføres i et anlegg som innbefatter et hus (4), en fylleåpning (5) i huset, en tømmeåpning (6,7) i huset og i huset anordnede agitatormidler (2,3) for fluidisering av et korn- eller partikkelformet materiale. Huset (4) har et innløp (13) for tilføring av damp til materialet i huset og husets tømme-åpning (6,7) er tilordnet en beholder (10) for mottak av materiale fra huset (4) gjennom tømmeåpningen (6,7). I et bunnområde har beholderen (10) en utmateranordning (11) for materialet i beholderen. Anlegget er isolert og/eller oppvarmbart.
