Abstract

For å beskytte og passe på transportenheter bestående av en slepeenhet og én eller flere transporterte eller transporterende enheter, har slepeenheten et databehandlingssystem (1) som er i stand til å kommunisere med omverd- enen via telekommunikasjon og GPS-satel- litter (45) og/eller et GSM-system (39) og med merker (lOB) som er nedgravd i en veibane. Den eller de transporterende eller transporterte enheter har dessuten et databehandlingssystem (15) som er i stand til å kommunisere med et databe- handlingssystem (1) i slepeenheten via en trådløs forbindelse (7) eller et grensesnitt (8). Databehandlingssystemet i den eller de transporterende eller transporterte enheter er dessuten sam- menkoplet med en antenne (16) som er i stand til å kommunisere med merker (lOB) i en veibane eller en overflate eller merker (lOA) som er beliggende i toppen av transporterende eller transporterte enheter. Et system som er konstruert slik som beskrevet ovenfor, tilveie- bringer den fordel at en last eller en tra.-isportenhet alltid kan lokaliseres og voktes.
