Kommunikasjonsluttapparatets hus (10) er utstyrt med utskiftbare dekk (13) og de pluggbare moduler (14) har samme ytre utforming som dekslene (13). Modulene (14) kan plasseres i stedet for dekkene (13), fortrinnsvis i det ovre, bakre området av huset (10), og kan settes inn i husets kontur.
