Oppfinnelsen angår anvendelse av en vandig løs- ning av en lavere alkohol med en tilsetning av (1) en polykarboksylsyre av lav molekylvekt, (2) en ester eller salt av sorbinsyre, (3) en flerverdig alko- hol, (4) en alifatisk syre eller et salt av en alifatisk syre, (5) et anionisk tensid og/eller (6) en svovelfri triazolforbindelse som kuldebærermid- del. Oppfinnelsen angår videre anvendelsen av høydispergerbar kiselsyre som sedimentasjons- hemmer i vandige løsninger av lavere alkoholer, som tjener som flytende isblandinger.
