Abstract

Prosess og apparatur for biologisk rensing av orga- nisk avfall med jordmarkkompost, også omfattende faste materialer, på toppen av eb vanngjennom- trengelig lag, og inokulasjon av en jordmarkspopula- sjon i kompostmaterialet, omfattende en hellende overflate for fjerning av avrenningsvann plassert under laget. I en utførelse av apparaturen ifølge oppfinnelsen, er kompostmaterialet rommet i en indre innbygning (7), innesluttet av og plassert i en ytre innbygning (11), gjennom hvilken vann fra bad, opp- vask og vask (BOV-vann) er ført for oppvarming av kompost-materialet ved utnyttelse av bunnen av den indre innbygningen, og for fukting av komposten gjen- nom å trekke, ved hjelp av kapillær virkning (17), BOV-vannet fra et rom (13) mellom innbygningene og inn i den indre innbygningen.
