Abstract

En fremgangsmåte og utstyr for multipleksering av tale og datainformasjon inn på minimum en overfør- ingslinje av en første type i et koitununikasjons- system, idet den omtalte metode inneholder trinnene: dele overføringslinjen inn i en mengde med kanaler, komprimere og/eller dele taleinformasjonen inn i en eller flere strømmer, idet hver strøm sendes med en hastighet tilsvarende til overføringskapasiteten for en av de inndelte kanaler fra overføringslinjen, deling av datainformasjonen inn i en eller flere strømmer, idet hver strøm sendes med en hastighet tilsvarende til overføringskapasiteten for en av kanalene fra overføringslinjen, og dynamisk alloker- ing og fra-allokering av strømmene med tale og data- informasjon til kanalene fra omtalte overførings- linje avhengig av behov.
