Abstract

En anordning (1) for beskyttelse av telekommunikasjonsutstyr mot et unormalt transi- entspenningssignal mottatt over telekommunikasjonslinje (2, 3), der anordningen inne- holder komponenter (16, 18,20,22,26) for selektiv undertrykkelse av transient- spenningssignal fra andre normale kommunikasjonssignaler. Kretselementene som sørger for undertrykkelse (t6, 18, 20, 22, 26) reagerer på frekvens snarere enn spen- ningen på transientspenningesignalet. Kretselementer som sørger for overspennings- bekyttelse (12, 14) kan også tilveiebringes for å undertrykke transientsignaler og konti- nuerlige overspenningssignaler som opptrer på telekommunikasjonslinjen (2, 3).
