Abstract

En prosess for å tilsette fettstoffer til en ekstrudert matsammensetning. Prosessen omfatter trinnene å mate råmaterialet fra en trakt (1) til en koke- eller oppvarmingsekstruder (2) for å danne et ekstrudat som går ut gjennom munnstykket (3) inn i et varmoljekammer (9). Ekstrudatet blir oppkappet til pelleter av en oppkappingsmekanisme (5) plassert i kammeret (9). Pelletene blir så transportert til en sikt (6) ved hvilken overskuddsoljen separeres fra pelletene og strømmende luft (7) anvendes på pelletenes overflate. Pelletene blir så rullet nedover sikten til et transportbånd (8) som bærer de ferdige pelletene til et pakkeområde. Oljen i kammeret ble oppvarmet av en oppvarmingsmekanisme (l 1) og pumpes til kammeret ved hjelp av en pumpemontasje (12).
