Abstract
Fremgangsmåter og sammensetninger for å undertrykke en immunrespons ved anvendelse eller som omfatter peptidfragmenter fra alfa-kjeden til klasse II hoved-histokompatibilitetskomplekset inneholdende et sterkt konservert område og som er effektivt til å undertrykke minst en og fortrinnsvis alle av følgende: en blandet lymfocyttreaksjon eller annen T-celle allogjenkjenningsreaksjon; dannelse av cytotoksiske T-celler som gjenkjenner et alloantigen; lymfocyttproliferasjon overfor vevsantigen; og stimulatorisk cytokinproduksjon til lymfocytter. Immunresponser som kan bli stanset eller undertrykket innbefatter alloimmunitet og autoimmunitet.
