Abstract

Det er skaffet tilveie et brønnloggingsfluid som har et relativt ikke-ledende fluid og en effektiv mengde salt tilstrekkelig til å modifisere de elektriske karakteristikkene til det relativt ikke-ledende fluidet resulterende i et modifisert fluid eller brønnloggingsfluid slik at et elektrisk brønnloggingsverktøy når det anordnet i det modifiserte fluidet, kan gjennomføre en elektrisk brønnloggingsundersøkelse av et borehull som inneholder det modifiserte fluidet. Det ikke-ledende fluidet er valgt fra gruppen som består av et ikke-vandig fluid og en invert emulsjon av en vandig fase i en ikke-ledende væske. I en invert emulsjon går den vandige andelen av denne opptil omkring 70 volum-%.
