Abstract

En fremgangsmåte er tilveiebrakt for å hemme dannelse, agglomerering og tilstopping med gasshydrater i et fluid inneholdende hydratdannende bestanddeler. Fremgangsmåten er spesielt nyttig i olje- og gassindustrien i boring, produksjon og brønnstrømtransport. Fremgangsmåten medfører tilsetning til hydratdannende fluider av et additiv, idet nevnte additiv A omfatter en eller flere amidforbindelser omfattende en eller flere av de følgende grupper 0 R, R2 hvor RI og R2 uavhengig er valgt fra gruppene omfattende hydrogen eller organiske grupper som har 1 - 5 karbonatomer, men det totale antall av karbonatomene i RI og Rj må ikke overstige 7, og RI og RZ kan være forbundet med hverandre under dannelse av en 5-7 leddet ring og kan inneholde O-, N-, S-, P-, Si-atomer i ringen. Additivet kan anvendes sammen med andre komponenter så som korrosjons- og kjelestensinhibitorer som innvirker på effekten av additivet som en gasshydratinhibitor. En fremgangsmåte er også tilveiebrakt for å redusere stabiliteten av emulsjoner dannet fra hydratdannende fluider og additiv A, ved tilsetning av et andre additiv B.
