Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse fremskaffer en kanalvelgerstyring og fremgangsmåte for å opprette en trådløs forbindelse som forbinder en sentral terminal og en abonnentterminal i et trådløst telekommunikasjonssystem. Det er fremskaffet i det minste to frekvens- kanaler over hvilke den trådløse forbindelse kan opprettes. Kanalvelgerstyringen om- fatter et lager for å lagre data som identifiserer de minst to frekvenskanaler, en velger for å velge en frekvenskanal blant dem oppliste! i nevnte lager, og forbindelseserverver- logikk for å opprette en trådløs forbindelse på den frekvenskanal som velges av velger- en. Videre reagerer velgeren på at forbindelseserververlogikken ikke er i stand til å opprette nevnte trådløse forbindelse, med å velge en alternativ frekvenskanal blant dem opplistet i nevnte lager. Med denne løsning er det mulig å øke antallet abonnent- terminaler som kan understøttes i det trådløse telekommunikasjonssystem, siden dersom en frekvenskanal er fullt ut benyttet på det tidspunkt hvor en trådløs forbindelse som forbinder en bestemt abonnentterminal med en sentral terminal ønskes, kan da en annen frekvenskanal velges for opprettelse av denne trådløse forbindelse.
